Illy Caffe

The brief:

in the US, Illy Caffe was perceived as an authentic barista brand usually reserved for restaurant or specialty shop occasions. Our challenge was to put Illy on the map the 10 US urban markets where Illy Espressamente Café’s would be opening, and drive share of brew/basket.

The Strategy:

Just a fresh, quality coffee feels great in the hand even before its sipped, we took that insight to lead with the mobile as the way to experience the brand every day in-Hand, On the Go, In Home.  And while doing so, leverage navigation technologies as a way to make the brand visible, accessible, and immediate.  And, to literally raise the bar-ista, to help the brand stand out on and off premise.

OUTCOMES:

We completed a full UX/UI, FRD and wireframe package to the Illy Caffe Team in Milan, for back end development of the application.  The Client team utilized most of the strategic functionality in the application design as well as the various extensions offered across the journey
